As God's Chief Elder at Apostolic Ministries of America, Inc., I feel it is my responsibility to provide words of encouragement to all of the young men who have truly had the heavenly calling to preach the gospel of God; to come forward and proclaim the word of the almighty God to the nations of the world. The need and responsibility is the same as it was a few days before Pentecost when Jesus Christ gave the last instructions to the blessed Apostles; And he said unto them, These [are] the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and [in] the prophets, and [in] the psalms, concerning me. Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things (Luke 24:44-48).
This charge from Christ the Lord to His ministers remains in effect to this day and will continue to remain in effect for as long as the publication of the Gospel is required and that is, until God's purpose is fulfilled; so no man or woman can escape the influence of the preaching of the gospel by God's Holy Ministers, when the whole word, past, now and then, stands before the judgement seat of Christ where the Books shall be opened and all are judged according to the records contained in the Book of Life. If there be good records of an individual's good works then he will have continuation to eternal life. But if they are bad or sinful recordings of the individual's works, then there shall be termination to eternal destruction in the company of the false prophet and the Anti-Christ.
With this in mind, we must also realize that the grace world (dispensation of grace) will almost all be totally subject to the words of the preacher. What the ministers of the gospel do and say will have a profound impact on the works of the people of the world, and what is recorded in the Lamb's Book of Life. For this reason it is essential that the minister proclaim the true doctrine of Jesus Christ to the flock of God over which the Holy Ghost have made God's ministers overseers. This responsibility of providing sound doctrine shall always rest with the ministers of the gospel.
As our mission "is To Support the Brethren" at AMA we are well aware of the need for many new ministers who are willing to proclaim the Gospel of Christ according to that True Apostolic Doctrine. God is getting his Church ready for the outpouring of His Spirit in these last days that His elect might be saved. And these will be people from all nations and kindreds who have become willing to believe on Him according to the scriptures and are willing to accept the one and the same doctrine that was put forth by Peter and the rest of the Apostles on the day of Pentecost when they were all in the upper room and on one accord. This last days outpouring of the Spirit of God will be to those and upon those who are on one accord in doctrine. God's Spirit will not be given to just anyone; instead it will be given to the multitude of believers who are on one accord and are willing to continue steadfastly in His Doctrine (the doctrine of the Apostles). For this great event, the out pouring of God's spirit in the last days, He is sure to touch many men with that heavenly calling to preach and teach the gospel; and those who are able to overcome the powers of satan and the lust for the kingdoms of this world, He will choose to be His Ministers in these last days to perform signs and wonders and the preaching of the true gospel as it was preach on the day ofPentecostt and during the early days of the New Testament Church.
It is the intent of AMA to search out and find those young men who have received the calling and to license those that desire to accept their calling, thus becoming the chosen ones to carry the gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations of the world. However in dealing with and depending on the youth of today there is serious disappointment and sobering findings with dull expectations when you look forward to the youth of today becoming servants of the Lord Jesus. A great many of the young people in youth groups today will not be a part of the church of tomorrow; even those with unique leadership abilities, will not escape their attachments to the kingdoms of this world that they should be chosen by the Lord God Jesus. Young people are not entering the Pastorate today. In a recent survey only one third of the youth surveyed answered in the affirmative when they were asked, "Will God remain a part of your live after you leave home?
In plain view of all the things happening today that can be interpreted as signs of Christ's second coming; we at Apostolic Ministries of America feel that now is the time for the church to intercede for God to birth a mighty generation of people who are willing to sense the call of God at a young age and mightily impact the world for His kingdom and purpose.
When we read in the New Testament we find a man and a woman who for many years prayed unto God for a son; and at long last an angel appeared unto the father saying, "your prayer is heard". The result of God answering the prayers of Zechariah and Elizabeth, was the birth of John the Baptist; a powerful man of God, filled with the Holy Ghost from the day of his birth who would influence his generation in a tremendous and positive way for the Lord God.
The young John the Baptist having been full of the Holy Ghost and having possessed knowledge of what was to come, which he proclaimed in a prophetic voice ministered in a demanding period of transition; where the old was surely passing away and a new age that would bring the Gospel of the Kingdom was about to begin. For a period of 400 years the prophetic voice had been silent, but, it would be this young man, John the Baptist who would restore it. The church today, in this generation desperately needs young men who are willing to dedicate themselves to the work of the Lord God in these coming days of change, transition, and where the Age of the Gentiles is rapidly grinding its self to its end; after which God's sprit will not dwell with all men, but only with those who believe in the authority and power of our Lord Jesus Christ and the righteousness which is by Him.
Just as all those who believed and which came up with Him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who were his witnesses unto the people, were told to return to Jerusalem and wait on the Promise from on High, received the Holy Ghost (the Promise) when the day of Pentecost had fully come. This fulfilled the Promise that was spoken of by the Prophet Joel (Joel 2:28), when the spirit of God was poured out upon all those that believed and were on one accord. The Promised was fulfilled for that generation; the generation which composed the New Testament Church as it was established on the day of Pentecost.
Now let us look at what the Prophet Joel and Apostle Peter had to say about the promise, as they were moved in speech by the Holy Ghost. Peter preaching on the day of Pentecost said, "For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, [even] as many as the Lord our God shall call". Here we see Peter proclaiming that the Promise is unto you and to your children, the generation that you witness and the generation of your children. God's promise of his Holy Spirit is given to you and your children the same as it was given to all those who were in the upper room when the day of Pentecost had fully come. And this will be given (the outpouring of God's Spirit) to the generation of your children and yourselves that believe in the true doctrine of Jesus Christ on one accord. The Prophet Joel said that this would come about during the last days: And it shall come to pass afterward, [that] I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: The word afterward is the key to understanding this passage. The young men shall see visions and these visions will parallel God Purpose; His directions and instructions for his ministers in the last days when the church will be in final preparation to achieve victory over Satan; whereas by the pouring out of God's spirit upon all those that believe; the church in it final phase will be eluded with grace and power that will prevent the gates of hell from prevailing against it. The massive outpouring of God's Spirit upon all flesh that believe is what will save the church from destruction during its end time struggle with satan. It shall be the responsibility of these great young men with vision of God's Purpose to lead the church through this last transition and on to final victory.
Just as the New testament Church had its beginning on the day of Pentecost with the out pouring of God's Spirit upon it; so shall it be with its ending, God will again pour His Spirit upon all believing flesh and the end age church when it becomes one body and one spirit with one hope wherein you are called and endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. This is when God's other Great outpouring will take place; and in the meanwhile we well need great and honest men of the gospel to get us there.
Just as John the Baptist prepared the way for the coming of the Messiah, proclaiming Jesus Christ as the “Lamb of God, and One mightier than I.” In this end time era we need a generation of men and women who will not be ashame to lift up the Lord Jesus Christ in all of His glory. As John prepared people for the first coming of the Lord, our sons and daughters of faith must prepare a people for the Lord’s second coming and the revealing of His Final Victory. As AMA's Chief Elder I pray to God, that He will give us people of prayer who will intercede for the birthing of a generation of pastors and teachers, apostles, prophets, evangelists, and church planters. For if we all pray, the Lord will hear our prayer and will give us a generation of “mighty men and women” for kingdom ministry.
