Q: How do I get started?

A: If you just like to browse, visit the category listings located on the left-hand side of the Shop@AMA main screens, Or, if you are searching for a particular product, type the brand name or product type into the several merchants search field located on the merchant page of your choice.

Q: What if I don't get an order confirmation?

A: Merchants should send you an email order confirmation within one business day of placing your order. However, if a merchant doesn't send confirmation e-mail, it doesn't necessarily mean that your order hasn't been processed. If you want to check on your order, contact the merchant directly, using their online customer service or their toll-free customer service number.

If you don't receive an order confirmation, please let us know. The merchant you ordered from is violating his Certified Merchants Policy and we want to know about it!

Q: How do I inquire about my order?

A: Contact the merchant.

Q: What if I am dissatisfied with my order?

A: If you are dissatisfied with your order, your best course of action is to contact the merchant, from whom you bought the product. Read the merchant's return policy, since each merchant handles returns differently.

Q: What if I want a refund?

A: If you make your purchase from an AMA Mall Merchant, AMA will insist that the merchants uphold their stated policies. If you contact the Certified Merchant and are still not satisfied, please notify our Customer Service Help Desk at director@apostolic-ministries.net. If an AMA Mall Merchant does not comply with its return policy as stated in the merchant's Customer Service area, AMA will provide you with the necessary information to obtain a refund for the full purchase price.

Q: How do I cancel an order?

A: If you want to cancel an order, you must contact the merchant directly. Try their online customer service site or their toll-free customer service number.

Q: What kind of encryption do you use to keep my personal billing information secure when it is passed to merchants?

A: When you shop from an AMA Mall Merchant, you transmit your personal billing information to the merchant via the highest level of SSL encryption that your browser supports.

Q: What about sales tax?

A: The merchant is responsible for calculating and communicating any applicable sales tax and shipping charges, and billing your card for these charges. If you have questions about sales tax, shipping, or other charges, you should contact the merchant directly.

Q: Does AMA mark up the price of the products?

A: Very few of the products advertised on AMA are actually sold by AMA, Instead, they're sold by the AMA Mall merchants. AMA does not mark up the prices of the products sold by these merchants.

Q. I notice that I receive a lot of junk email. Is it because I shop online?

A. No. Some merchants do notify their customers about upcoming specials and discounts. AMA Mall Merchants following the AMA Privacy guidelines must notify you if they are gathering any personal information, including your email address. They must also provide you with the option to NOT receive email marketing offers.

There are some online activities that make your e-mail address available to the public and can cause you to receive junk mail. These include:

Posting to message boards or newsgroups

Chatting online

Joining mailing lists

Creating a member profile

Creating a Web page

Take advantage of the several screen names that you receive with your inte account. Create one screen name for personal use. Create another one for posting in public areas. Use your "public" name to make a member profile, post to message boards, or build a Web site. Keep your private screenname private and only give it out to friends.
