The Woodville Experience Preached As It Was On The Day Of Pentecost Biography Of Elder Rodney Davis Sr.
Pastor of True Bible Way Church of the Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith
Woodville, Mississippi
Chief Elder Walker & Elder Davis Sr. After Ordination Services Rodney Davis, Sr., was born to the late Bro. William Davis and Sis. Gladys Davis of Woodville, MS on March 23, 1957. He is the seventh child out of eight. He received his academic diploma from Wilkinson County High School in Woodville, MS in 1975.
Having accepted the Apostle's Doctrine at an early time in his life Bro. Davis was baptized in Jesus' name in 1981 and received the gift of the Holy Ghost, speaking in other tongues as the spirit of God gave utterance. Not knowing at this time that at a time in the near future he would be called to lead the Church from a condition of darkness to a state of marvelous light.
Soon after his conversion, Brother Davis, Sr. became very active and essential in teaching the Apostles Doctrine in Home Bible Studies in this local area of Woodville, Mississippi; and it was evidence that he was continuing to grow in knowledge and wisdom in the word of God. He has been the Adult Early Church Teacher since 1993. Bro. Davis feels that Early Church Teaching is an important part of Christian education and makes an all out effort to give his best for every occasion. He is committed to providing an atmosphere conducive to learning the word of God. For it is God's Word that cleanses from sin, guides our feet, lights our paths, and if hidden in the heart will produce a victorious life.
During an extended period of time, there was a battle with Satan and the church went through a crisis without a pastor. Bro. Davis, using the strong hand that God had Given him; was instrumental in binding the church together when only a few members remained. He taught the weekly Bible class and also taught Early Church on Sunday mornings.
On May 28, 2005 he was ordained as Elder of True Bible Way Apostolic Church of Woodville, MS by Chief Elder Charles Ford Walker, of Apostolic Ministries of America, Inc.; 'A Church of the Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith; the End Time Apostolic Organization which is impacting the lives of true believers in all the Nations of the World; by preaching and teaching the word of God, just as it was preached and taught on the day of Pentecost at Jerusalem.
Elder Davis is married to the former, Angelia Veal also of Woodville, MS. They are the proud parents of three children: one daughter, Arielle Rodshena, and two sons, Rodney II and Roddy J. Davis.a. Pastor Hill
Elder Davis has not ceased to present the Apostles Doctrine in a relevant, practical, and simplistic manner. With the help of God he continues to shed himself of traditions of men and embrace the move of God for this hour. He is committed to the role given him by God in making the true word heard by all those who are willing to sit and listen to the Gospel Preached without compromise.

| Our MinistryTherefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them......II Cor. 4:1-4 |
